Description
The SMART MAG™ Heavy Duty Rotating String Magnet is a heavy-duty wellbore clean out tool suitable for all downhole conditions including HPHT and Extended Reach wells. Tool designed for the removal of ferrous material from well bore through rotation and reciprocation. Future wellbore operation cleans the wellbore and free from metal debris is important. SMART MAG™ Heavy Duty Rotating String Magnet can run separately or as part of a comprehensive wellbore clean-out assembly. SMART MAG™ Heavy Duty Rotating String Magnet assembled with smart and focus magnet technology this will contribute strong permanent magnet, strong resistance to corrosion as well as oxidation. SMART MAG™ Heavy Duty Rotating String Magnet designed with heavy duty magnet blocks and Fixed Stabilizer on both ends for passing through joints without getting held up while vertical or rotational operations. Additional water course allow to lift maximum cuttings to surface. The fixed Stabilizer feature work as cutting bed removal technics for horizontal and extended reach wells for both reciprocation and rotational sequence, allow extended rotation in harsh environments preventing tool and casing wear.
Tool Operations
The SMART MAG™ Heavy Duty Rotating String Magnet usually run with pin down, it can be run alone or as part of a comprehensive wellbore clean-out or drilling/Milling BHA. For well bore clean out BHA advisable to run SMART MAG™ Heavy Duty Rotating String Magnet above the following SMART BLADE™ Casing Brush and SMART BLADE™ Casing scraper While drilling/milling or combined operation pick up the string frequently and keep reciprocate the string circulates the well clean and clear the cuttings debris from wellbore, this will increase the flow path. Deviated well recommend to reciprocating the string minimum one joint intermediately and maintain minimum 135-150 FT/Min Annular velocity

Plan and Delivery
SMART MAG™ Heavy Duty Rotating String Magnet selection by casing/liner sizes, ID and drift dia from the technical data sheet. Always customer data to be cross checked and verified prior to load out.
While dispatch the tool inspection report and operation manual to be send along with the tool.
Prior to mobilization verify SMART MAG™ magnet area to be covered properly with SMART MAG SKIRT™ to avoid damages while transportation and handling.
Prior to load out the tool collect all the information about the operation
Maintanence and Handling
Good Maintenance will prolong the life of the tools each runs tools must disassembled and inspect as per SMART MAG™ Heavy Duty Rotating String Magnet Service Manual.
After POOH from wellbore clean and remove the metal debris from the tool and lay out, cover the magnet area with SMART MAG SKIRT™. Install thread protectors and keep the tool in to tool cage, make sure magnet area not to touch on the ground or any other metal object.
