Description
The SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool combination of Watermelon Mill, Non-Rotating Scraper and Non- Rotating Casing Brush. SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool is a heavy-duty wellbore clean out tool suitable for all down hole conditions including HPHT and Extended Reach wells. Tool designed for the removal of mud, cement, bullets, rust, scale, paraffin, perforation burrs and other obstruction from casing and Liner well bore through rotation and reciprocation. Future wellbore operation clean the casing ID is important. SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool can run separately or as part of a comprehensive wellbore clean-out assembly. SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool incorporate with drifted dia watermelon mill and centralizers to clear all type of obstruction from casing/liner in single run. This will eliminate additional mill-run equals save the time and cost. SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool designed with long and tapered edge Blades and Brushes for passing through joints without getting held up while vertical or rotational operations. Additional full circle Scrapers Blades and Casing Brushes are spaced to contact 360 degree, complete one circle for both scraper and brush assly. Non rotating centralizer sleeves will avoid wear of casing, Scraper Blade and Brush bristle damages, SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool three in one technology newly designed for to reduce the operating cost for customer as well as similar tool currently not available in the market. The alloy bearings feature is very rigid for both axial and radial elements to allow extended rotation in harsh environments preventing tool and casing wear.
Tool Operations
The SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool usually run with pin down, it can be run alone or as part of a comprehensive wellbore clean-out or drilling BHA. Each scraper and Brush sleeve configuration overlapped by the row on the bottom. Advisable to Place scraper sleeve after the watermelon following Casing brush on same mandrel. Optional to running in hole SMARTMAG™ Rotating / Non-Rotating String magnet or any other wellbore clean out tools in the same BHA. SMAR BLADE™ COMBO Tool made up on the string and running in hole scraping and brushing operation begun rotating or spudding as desired. While running in hole any held up or obstruction rotate the string watermelon mill will clear off the restriction. Watermelon mill clear off all the cement bridges, perforation burs without compressing or collapse the scraper blocks.Recommend placing SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool minimum one full joint above from the bit. While drilling and scraping / Brushing combined operation pick up the string frequently and keep off bottom to circulate the well clean and clear the cuttings debris from wellbore. Deviated well recommend to reciprocating the string minimum one joint intermediately and maintain minimum 135-150 FT/Min Annular velocity. Mitigate to the risk 4½” – 5½” SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool while drilling not advisable, contingency plan just for short length of cement plug.

SMART BLADE™ COMBO Tool selection by casing/liner sizes, ID and drift dia from the technical data sheet. Always customer data to be cross checked and verified prior to load out.
While dispatch the tool inspection report and operation manual to be send along with the tool.
Ensure mill sleeve OD, centralizer OD scraper block, Brush Blocks range suitable with casing/liner technical specifications.
Prior to load out the tool collect all the information about the operation
Maintanence and Handling
Good Maintenance will prolong the life of the tools each runs tools must disassembled and inspect as per SMART BLADE™ Combo Tool Service Manual.
After POOH from wellbore install thread protectors and keep the tool in to tool cage, make sure scraper block and brushes are not to touch on the ground.

Clean the Wellbore and provide drifted ID without any restrictions
Drilling, Workover, side-tracking and abandonment operations
Remove tight spots might have caused by dents in casing as a result of mishandling
